Deuel High School has continued its partnership with Big Stone Therapies, Inc., with Dr. Lynn Simon, PT/ATC, providing athletic training services to the student-athletes. As part of this agreement, Simon is at the school every Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM to assess and manage athletic injuries. She also provides dedicated event coverage at home varsity competitions for football, cross country, wrestling, and gymnastics.

Hannah Lunden, a dedicated special education staff member at Deuel School District, has been selected as one of the Top 5 Finalists for the South Dakota Department of Education’s 2025 SPED Staff of the Year Award. Chosen from a pool of 60 nominations, Lunden’s hard work and commitment to her students have earned her this well-deserved recognition.
