Career Counseling
The Deuel School District’ career counselor program helps student make informed decisions about their educational and career paths by providing them with information about various professions, industries, and academic options. School counselors deliver programs that impact student growth in three domains: career development, academic development, and social/emotional development.
Many students aspire to attend college or pursue post-secondary education. Career counseling supports them in navigating the college application process, understanding admission requirements, and exploring financial aid options.
For students who plan to enter the workforce directly after high school, career counseling provides guidance on job search strategies, resume building, interview skills, and understanding workplace expectations.
Career Counseling aims to help you make the decisions you need to make now and give you the knowledge and skills you need to make future career and life decisions.
