Staging Areas

School Float Staging Area (yellow):
Located along the west side of the school on 5th Ave South.

Non-School Staging Area (olive/green):
Also located on the west side, just north of the school staging area on 5th Ave South and 5th Street West around the Clear Lake Methodist Church.

Parade Routes by Group
All groups will start on Valley View Drive on the south side of the school and travel east to 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15).

Pre-K, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten (Red Route):

• Will begin on Valley View Drive (south of school) and turn north on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15).
• Continuing on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15) they will pass Sanford Clear Lake Hospital/Clinic.
• Turn west on 4th Street West at pass DNB National Bank.
• Walk one block and turn south at the corner of 4th Street West and 4th Ave South.
• They will end at the school by the Deuel County Court House.

Bands and Walkers (Green Route):
The bands will only play music along Main Street.

• Will begin on Valley View Drive (south of school) and turn north on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15).
• Continuing on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15) they will pass Sanford Clear Lake Hospital/Clinic.
• Turn west on 4th Street West at pass DNB National Bank.
• They will travel through the business district and turn west on 2nd Street West. This is the corner of the Clear Lake City Building and Maynard's Food Center.
• After one block they will turn at 4th Ave South and proceed west and and end back at the school.

Community Floats and Vehicles (Blue Route):

• Will begin on Valley View Drive (south of school) and turn north on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15).
• Continuing on 3rd Ave South (Hwy 15) they will pass Sanford Clear Lake Hospital/Clinic.
• Turn west on 4th Street West at pass DNB National Bank.
• They will travel through the business district and turn west on 2nd Street West. This is the corner of the Clear Lake City Building and Maynard's Food Center.
• After two blocks they will turn south on 5th Avenue South and end by the Clear Lake Methodist Church.

Please Note:

• The band will only play along Main Street, indicated by the dashed purple line on the east side of the route.
• Candy is NOT allowed to be thrown during the parade.
• Candy will instead be distributed during halftime of the football game.
• Candy donations can be dropped off at the school business office before the parade.
