Deuel Touch Wall
We are excited to have launched a digital archive with an interactive touch screen now located in the trophy case outside the competition gym at Deuel School. This touch screen has been in the making for several years. Initially the project started with preserving and presenting the high school senior composites in the new addition. We will now be able to honor and archive our academic, athletic, and extracurricular achievements and history of our school district.
The contents can not only be enjoyed on the touch screen at the school, but online, outside of the school walls. You may also find this link to the touch wall on the home page icon panel of the district website. Here is the link: Go to Touch Wall!

Building Timeline
♦ 2023 saw the latest construction when the old armory and shop areas were demolished and a new competition gym, south entrance to the school, kitchen and cafeteria, shops, classrooms, and bus/parking were added to the school facility.
♦2005 a new high school was constructed.
♦In 1991 the construction of four additional elementary classrooms, the Cardinal Gym, wrestling and weight room, locker room, and classrooms.
♦ In November 1974, the administrative addition was completed which included the following: Superintendent's office, business manager's office, conference room, reception area, classroom and a storage area.
♦ In 1968 and 1969, an addition was built to the school which included the following: ten new grade school classrooms, a band room, a vocal music classroom, a home economics department in one unit, a kindergarten room, a grade school library, storage rooms, a girls' locker room, a shop building, and a kitchen and dining room.
♦The National Guard addition to the auditorium was completed in about 1962.
♦The construction of a joint City-School Auditorium was completed in 1951-1952.
♦ Clear Lake School District Number 52 was organized in June 1885. In the summer and fall of 1885 the first schoolhouse was built and was ready for use October 12.
