If we are more than a test score, why would you make us sit through ACT Prep?

As the state of South Dakota requires schools to move away from the Smarter Balanced test in favor of the ACT for our required state test for juniors, I hear many variations of this question from students and families.

Hi! I am Hannah Swenson.  I am excited to introduce myself as the new Special Education Director, 504 Coordinator, and Testing Coordinator at Deuel School. I have been in education for 9 years and previously worked as both a special education teacher and a first grade teacher.
